Simple Past Regolare
Il passato semplice descrive azioni completate in un momento specifico del passato. I verbi regolari aggiungono -ed. Ci sono circa 200 verbi irregolari comuni con forme passate uniche che devono essere apprese individualmente.

Present Continuous Regolare
Il presente continuo descrive azioni che stanno accadendo in questo momento o situazioni temporanee. Si forma con am/is/are + verbo-ing. È anche usato per accordi futuri definiti.

Past Continuous Regolare
Il passato continuo descrive azioni che erano in corso in un momento specifico del passato, spesso interrotte da un altro evento. Si forma con was/were + verbo-ing.

Past Perfect Regolare
Il passato perfetto descrive un'azione completata prima di un altro evento passato — il passato del passato. Si forma con had + participio passato. Implica sempre un punto di riferimento nel passato.

Future Simple Regolare
Il futuro semplice esprime previsioni, decisioni spontanee e promesse. Si forma con will + infinito di base. La forma contratta will not = won't è molto comune nell'inglese parlato.

Future Continuous Regolare
Il futuro continuo descrive un'azione che sarà in corso in un momento specifico del futuro. Si forma con will be + verbo-ing. Spesso viene utilizzato per descrivere azioni pianificate o attese che si svolgeranno nel tempo.
This time tomorrow she will be speaking to the board. — Domani a quest'ora parlerà con il consiglio.

Future Perfect Regolare
Il futuro anteriore descrive un'azione che sarà completata prima di un punto specifico nel futuro. Si forma con will have + participio passato. È comune con espressioni temporali come by then, by the time.

Conditional Regolare
Il condizionale descrive situazioni ipotetiche e i loro risultati. Si forma con 'would' + infinito di base. Viene usato nelle frasi condizionali, nelle richieste cortesi e nel discorso indiretto riguardo eventi futuri.
